P-H-M Community Education is offering Learn-to-Swim classes at Penn High School. Children must be at least 4 years old and toilet trained. Each two-week session (10 classes) is 30 minutes each. The cost is $50 per (10 day) two week session per child.

Classes during each session run daily Monday thru Friday at the following times:

8:00 a.m., 8:40 a.m., 9:20 a.m., 10:00 a.m., 12:30 p.m., 1:10 p.m.,1:50 p.m., 2:30 p.m.

Children will be tested on the first day of class and will be placed in the Red Cross swim levels. To receive certification at the end of each session, children must attend testing on the first day.

Registration

Registrations are accepted both online and by phone. Registration by mail are NOT accepted. Online and phone registrations for Learn-to-Swim begins on Monday, April 14 at 10 a.m. You may registger by phone using a Discover, Visa or MasterCard debit/credit card or eCheck by calling 574.258.9568 from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and from 1:30 p.m. to 4 p.m.

A 3.49 percent fee is added to all credit/debit card and eCheck registrations.

Class size is limited and slots will be filled on a first come, first served basis.

· Parents of 4-year olds must submit a birth certificate for the child at the time of registration. If registering a 4-year-old-child by phone or online you must email a copy of the birth certificate to jforkner@phm.k12.in.us. If the birth certificate is not received within 24 hours, your registration will be canceled. A child must be 4 years old by the date of the session(s) he/she will attend. No exceptions.

· Refunds, minus a $10 processing fee for each registration, will be made upon your cancellation with our office at least two business days prior to the start of the session. A refund check is mailed to you and may take up to 3 weeks to receive.

· A $5 processing fee for each child, will be charged for transfers. Transfers must be paid by check and mailed to the Community Education office at 55900 Bittersweet Road, Mishawaka, IN 46545.
